UK equestrian sponsorship round-up


  • HorseHage is again the official supplier of forage for the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) (8-12 October).
    A spokesman from HorseHage said: “HorseHage is a great forage choice, both for at home and travelling to shows. It is packed into highly compressed bales for easy handling and storage.     FMBs Therapy Systems has announced its sponsorship of Charlotte Dujardin.
    “We’re delighted to be working with Charlotte,” said Serena Hickson, managing director of FMBs Therapy Systems.
    “We know that the horses that Charlotte rides at Carl’s have used our systems, including the Activo-Med Combi Pro, extensively for a number of years now and we also know that Charlotte has been a huge advocate for the product, which is really important to us. We’re looking forward to working with Charlotte and her horses, to help support her continued success.”
    Charlotte said: “I’m really excited to be working with the team at FMBs and to join an esteemed list of riders that are already using these rugs to great benefit for their horses.”

    TOPSPEC is now sponsoring the show hunter classes and championships at this year’s Discover Ireland Dublin Horse Show (7-9August).
    Katy Mickle of TopSpec said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the hunter classes at the Dublin Horse Show. “It is a very prestigious event and as we are feeding more and more horses and ponies throughout Ireland, we are very pleased to support the show and Irish breeders and riders.”
    The company is also once again sponsoring the main indoor championship TopSpec arena at Equifest (August 13–17 2014).

    Classic Dressage has welcomed pony european dressage champion, Phoebe Peters, to its team.
    Phoebe said: “I am delighted to have been asked to be a brand ambassador for Classic Dressage and be part of such a successful team. I can’t wait to represent an exceptionally professional business with such fantastic products for both horse and rider!”

    The British Horse Society will be sponsoring the 2015 National Riding Schools Championship.
    Rachael Hollely from BHS said: “We are thrilled to be working with such a prestigious company where safety is at the forefront of their minds at all times, we hope that their support will help this fabulous championship go from strength to strength.”

    Dressage Deluxe will continue to support the medium restricted and medium open championships at the LeMieux National Dressage Championships (18-21 September) for the third year running.
    Alison Nye-Warden, from Dressage Deluxe said: “Not only do we love to have a presence at the Nationals with our shopping emporium because it gives us a chance to meet our customers face to face, but by sponsoring these highly contested classes, we hope to give something back to the sport, which has given us so much in return. ”

    Hit-Air has recently supported long-distance rider, Claire Alldritt on her latest equestrian challenge. Claire Alldritt rode across Scotland in order to raise money for the Prince Fluffy Kareem charity.
    Claire said: “I ride in a Western style saddle so finding protective equipment which does not interfere with the cantle of the saddle, yet offers exceptional protection for the lower back, and is lightweight and comfortable – was my ambition. The Hit-Air vest met all of my requirements and more – I hardly even knew I was wearing it!”

    Sue Carson Saddles northern distributor Kate Jackson will support the British Dressage Regional Championships.
    Sue Carson said: “We are pleased to be able to support the team at Frys in this way as we’ve worked with them very successfully for a long time. It offers competitors an additional incentive to ride at the Northern Regional Championships and we look forward to meeting them all.”

    Natural organic aloe vera feed supplement Aloeride is once again sponsoring H&H blogger Jason Webb.

    Italian saddle brand Amerigo is now sponsoring eventer Nicola Wilson.
    Nicola said: “I feel very balanced riding in the Amerigo saddles and therefore very much part of the horse whether on the flat or jumping. It is also reassuring to have the technical support from such a renowned brand, as it ensures the horses are using saddles that suit them individually.”

    Haygain is a supplier to the organising committee for Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) (23 August – 11 September).
    Brian Fillery of Haygain said: “We are delighted to supply this service for WEG  in Normandy. The well-being of the horses involved is our top priority, ensuring a disinfected, disease free environment, and clean forage, free from respirable dust during the games.”
