South Shropshire joint-master Otis Ferry appears in court


  • South Shropshire huntsman and joint-master Otis Ferry has appeared at Gloucester Crown Court on charges of robbery and assault.

    Mr Ferry, 25, of Easton Mascott near Shrewsbury, is alleged to have stolen a video camera from a female hunt monitor and assaulted another woman while he was following the Heythrop hunt last November.

    At the court appearance on Wednesday (14 May) Mr Ferry spoke only to confirm his name. He did not enter a plea.

    A plea hearing has been fixed for 25 July and a trial date has been provisionally set for September 15.
