New bloodhound pack in North Yorkshire

  • A new pack of bloodhounds has been started in North Yorkshire.

Former Bilsdale joint-masters Harry Stephenson and Judith Skilbeck have set up the Highmoor Bloodhounds.

Kennels have been built on Mr Stephenson’s farm near York and they have drafted hounds from the Readyfield, the Coakham and the Southdown and Eridge. Mr Stephenson will hunt hounds.

Mrs Skilbeck said they would hunt one day a week from next season, but plan to take it “as it comes” this year.

Anyone wanting to get involved should contact Mrs Skilbeck, tel: 01845 537235.
