LACS chief spinner arrested over expenses fraud


  • A leading anti has been arrested by police on suspicion of fraud.

    Steve Taylor, 35, was sacked last Tuesday (15 November) by the League Against Cruel Sports (LACS) for gross misconduct.

    The former head of campaigns and communications at LACS was dismissed following a disciplinary investigation concerning his expenses claims.

    Mr Taylor was arrested on Monday (21 November) and released on bail until 10 January.

    Surrey Police said: “A man has been arrested on suspicion of fraud after we received concerns regarding financial irregularities at an organization based in Waverley.”
