Yesterday’s (25 October) launch of the Equestrian.com Liverpool International Horse Show (31 December-2 January 2017) wasn’t short of the celebrity factor. Grand National-winning jockey Bob Champion led a parade of arond 50 riders, including showjumpers Billy Twomey, Laura Renwick and Geoff Billington, through the city centre ending up at the Echo Arena, where the show will be held at the end of the year.
