2. ‘Great attitude to work’
Height: 15.2hh
Age: seven
Gender: mare
Selling points: “This eye-catching mare has lovely paces and is very straight-moving with clean limbs. She has a bold jump across country has has done British Showjumping at British Novice level. She would make a potential great eventer and she hacks alone and in company, being good in traffic.”
3. ‘Stunning Friesian’
Height: 16hh
Age: four
Gender: mare
Selling points: “This horse was imported as a two-year-old. ‘Marieke’ has not done much work under saddle. However since being backed and brought into ridden work she has shown huge potential in dressage with three even, expressive paces and a very trainable temperament. Marieke can live in or out and only gets hard feed as a treat as she is a very good doer and is fine with a bit of hay and grass. She is also barefoot with very strong good feet. She hacks in company and could easily be taught to hack alone — I only haven’t done so as I don’t like to hack alone. Marieke has superb conformation and is a very sweet and well-mannered girl, she is a bit green still due to her age but is already starting canter work and is very sensible and well balanced. Loads and travels perfectly every time she’s been in a box or trailer. Good with feet, to groom, handle, with farrier, catch etc.”
4. ‘Stunning’
Height: 16.2hh
Age: 10
Gender: gelding
Selling points: “This horse is a super hack, hunter and all-rounder. He has a good jump and would be a good confidence-giver/schoolmaster type. He has done showjumping and cross-country and is a well-mannered hunter going first or last. He hacks alone and never get hot — easy to do everything with.”
5. ‘Family horse’
Height: 15.1hh
Age: four
Gender: gelding
Selling points: “This horse was backed last autumn and then turned away. ‘Bear’ has been back in work since may. He is working well on the flat with three good paces, will pop over poles and happily hacks down the high street alone. Long reins well and would make a super driving horse. Good with kids and dogs and easy to do in all ways. A lovely family all rounder.”
