United States names Olympic eventing team

    • The United States has named its eventing team for this summer’s Olympic Games.

    Amy Tryon and Poggio II, Gina Miles and McKinglaigh, Phillip Dutton and Connaught, Heidi White and Northern Spy and Becky Holder and Courageous Comet will all be heading to Hong Kong to represent the USA.

    Phillip Dutton said: “It is an incredible honor. To represent America for the first time is something I’ll remember for the rest of my life.”

    The reserves will be Buck Davidson (Ballynoe Castle RM), Phillip Dutton (Woodburn), Bonnie Mosser (Merloch) and Karen O’Connor (Mandiba).
