New owners for Milton Keynes EC

  • Milton Keynes Eventing Centre goes from strength to strength with plans to improve existing facilities

Milton Keynes Eventing Centre, which was recently sold by the Andrew family, is now under new ownership by Fiona and Steve Gifkins who took over last month.

Talking about the centre’s future plans Fiona Gifkin said: “It is going fantastically well, we have a super team and are hoping to diverge into all-year-round competitions.”

The couple plan to continue running the centre as normal, which includes BE affiliated events, as well as the Eqvalan unaffiliated three-day event, dressage, cross country, show jumping and driving programmes.

Future plans include raising the centre’s profile, attracting a sponsor for the June 2002 horse trials and making substantial ground improvements. The centre also plans to extend outside surfaces to be able to hold all-year-round BSJA competitions and indoor eventing competitions.
