Names line up for US eventing chef d’equipe job


  • The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is in the process of selecting a new eventing chef d’equipe/technical adviser, to start in 2013.

    Capt Mark Phillips steps down from the post, which he has held since 1991, after the Olympics next year.

    Bettina and Andrew Hoy, David O’Connor, Jimmy Wofford, Leslie Law, Phillip Dutton and Bobby Costello are reported to have applied for the job.

    USEF’s target for the incoming chef is to win “at the Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games and Pan-American Games, as well as other championships”.

    The deadline for applications closed on Monday (31 January).
