Lincolnshire one-day event


  • Ruth Edge and Two Thyme took the spoils for the second year running at Lincolnshire in open intermediate section K, ahead of Oliver Townend and Eldmire Foxy Lady. Oliver also took third place on Saxon Cross, while Ruth was fourth with Marsh Mayfly.

    Piggy French and Chicago II won open intermediate section J ahead of Oliver Townend riding Roquefort.

    Open intermediate section L went to Matthew Wright on Cermont. Second place went to Caroline Powell and Lenamore. Caroline followed up this result with a win in intermediate section N on The Ginger Fox, ahead of Mark Kyle and Step In Time II.

    Lauren Shannon topped the leaderboard in the under-21 open intermediate on Quixotic. Second was 20-year-old Guy Herbert riding Fortunes Way.

    Nick Turner and Boxter Bravo took the remaining intermediate, section M, ahead of Ronnie Durand and Clover Curtis.

    The first pony trial of the season was won by Sarah Hutchings and Baydale Velvet. Lottie Kennedy and Darracks Tonto were runners-up.
