British Eventing is holding its first annual awards ball on 26 October
Eventing enthusiasts can dance the night away and help fund the training of future eventing teams at British Eventing’s inaugural Britannia Ball at the Chesford Grange Hotel, near Kenilworth, Warwickshire on 26 October.
The ball will host the society’s annual awards ceremony, including the presentation of the prestigious “Tony Collings memorial trophy” for the Leading British rider and the “Calcutta light horse trophy” for the owner of the horse gaining the highest number of BE points in the 2001 season. The awards have previously been given at the society’s AGM.
A grand raffle will be held during theevening to help raise funds for team training for ponies to seniors. Raffle prizes include horse feed from Baileys Horse Feeds and Dodson & Horrell, clothing from Toggi and Barbour, return plane tickets to any “Go” destination, and tickets to the tennisat Wimbledon among others.
Tickets, which cost £60 per person, include a champagne reception and five-course meal, as well as the awards ceremony and dancing to Xtatic.
