Rugby-playing riders, commentators and course-builders from theeventing world are to battle it out in the mud on Sunday 15 December in a charity rugby match.
The “Eventers”, whose team members includes Alec Lochore and Gary Parsonage, will play against the “Tetbury Vets”, with proceeds from the game going to Tetbury rugby club and Tetbury hospital’s physiotherapy department. Players hope not to require the unit’s services themselves.
Kick-off is at 2.30pm; and the bar opens at 12.30pm at the recreation ground in Tetbury.
