Event Horse Owners Association to sponsor novice and advanced sections at major events in 2002
The Event Horse Owners Association has teamed up with PricewaterhouseCoopers to sponsor the advanced sections at the following events next year:
- Belton (14 April)
- Cornbury (21 July)
- Lulworth (28 July)
- Thirlesetane (18 August)
It has also linked up with Charles Britton Arenas, Printin’, Shearwater Insurance and Uniglobe Travel to sponsor novice sections at Aston le Walls (2 June), Burgie (14 June), Smith Lawn (30 July) and Charlton Park (6 October).
In each of these classes scale one prize money and special prizes will be presented to the owners of the top three horses.
As well as the sponsorship for class sections, the EHOA have committed £3,000 to a training initiative for owners/riders. These will take the form of five, £200 training awards for owners/riders who are EHOA members.
They are also offering a further £2,000 worth of vouchers available on a first-come-first served basis. These can be used to pay for 50% of the cost of a training session with trainers such as Yogi Breisner, Chris Bartle and Pippa Funnell.
