Cross-country penalties no longer automatic if frangible pin breaks


  • Riders will no longer receive 21 penalties for breaking a frangible pin on a cross-country course, the governing body for horse sport has announced.

    Following an appeal by riders and British Eventing to the FEI’s eventing committee , the FEI bureau has changed the rule to allow the ground jury of an event to decide if penalties should be awarded.
