Calling all international event riders

  • From 1 January, all event horses and riders must be registered with the FEI before competing at any level of international event (CCI or CIC) at home or abroad, regardless of whether they hold an existing FEI passport or have already previously competed at international level.

Horses and riders which are not registered will not be allowed to enter an FEI event.

The FEI eventing registration is valid for one calendar year (1 January- 31 December), can be made at any point during the year and can only be carried out by the international department at British Eventing (BE).

Application forms are available from the BE international department or via the website www.britisheventing.com

Passports will no longer be issued from the BEF office and will have to be sourced from the FEI in Switzerland. It will now take up to three weeks to complete a passport and BE will no longer be able to produce emergency passports and rider registrations.

For more details, call Paul or Jackie at BE (tel: 02476 698852).
