Judy Harvey and Richard Heleys Fitzcerraldo made a winning grand prix debut at Patchetts, Hertfordshire (26-27 August). In second place was World Class squad member Lisa Hopkins on Lindsay Robertss Nemo III.
Young rider Rebecca Bates partnered Bunjee to head the prix st georges.
In her first affiliated competition, Debby Bignell and the former advanced eventer Aztec III led the prelim qualifier on 74.5% and also won the novice restricted qualifier.
It was also a winning debut for Sara-Jane Lanning with a double at elementary on Kate Lamburns European Bacherus.
Alison Berman had four wins on three horses. She scored a double at novice on Donald McTaggarts four-year-old Duchess, won an elementary qualifier on Diesel D, who is owned by Judy Firmston-Williams and Anna Ross-Davies, and then went on to take the advanced medium qualifier on her own Twister 23.
Tracey Nelson took a novice qualifier on her sharp as a knife Ulysses II.
