British breeders welcome another foal by Totilas

  • Totilas has fathered another British colt. Tarantino was born late on Sunday night (8 May) at Twemlows Hall Stud Farm.

The bright bay colt is out of ex-international dressage mare Madonna 141, formerly the mount of Lizzie Murray.

Tarantino is owned by Charlotte Nash and her mother, of Stockbridge, Hampshire.

Speaking to Charlotte the morning after she first saw him she said: “I just can’t stop smiling, he is such a sweet, friendly little colt and this is such fantastic news!

“He has a big white face and four white socks just like mum.

“We are thinking that he might turn dark bay as he already has some patches.”

She said they plan to send him to Germany to be broken and tested before coming home and starting his competition career with Liz Diegutis in Hampshire.

“We plan to keep him entire if appropriate,” added Charlotte.
