American clothing company renames breeches after former event horse

  • American clothing company 2kGrey is renaming its black breeches — formerly called the Koko — after Marilyn Little’s RF Smoke on the Water who died last month.

The 9-year-old eventer had to be put down — just days after finishing 5th at his first CCI4* at Kentucky. He had suffered fatal injuries when being cast in his box.

The Smoke On The Water is a full seat breech and is made of stretch denim.

Co-founders of 2kGrey Mery Ranzer and Kris Pinto said: “We were so sad to hear that Smoke on the Water had tragically died. Our hearts went out to Marilyn, and we wanted to honour the memory of her wonderful horse.”

Smoke On The Water jodhpurs come in sizes 8-16 and cost approximately £150 ($250)
