High Tension retired to stud in 2002. His first foals proved very popular and many of those first mares covered have revisited. His stock are correct and athletic with the most laid back temperaments.
In 2004 a foal by High Tension was shown for the first time and was well recieved winning two firsts and two seconds from four classes at county level.
Mares covered in 2004 include a half sister to high class chaser Desailly, a winning flat mare from the family of Paris house and a mare owned by a high profile SHB judge destined to event.
High Tension’s pedigree is from the top drawer. Sadlers Wells needs no introduction — 12 times champion sire, he now has many Group 1 producing sons.
His dam has produced three winners from three runners (including High Tension) and this hugely successful family includes Group 1 producing sons Zilzal, Polish Precedent and Intikhab as well as group winners Culture Vulture and Awe Inspiring (sire in USA).
All in all the future looks bright with many foals destined for glittering careers in eventing and racing already in professional homes.
