A picture-perfect dressage test from Pippa Funnell at Blenheim Horse Trials this afternoon, has catapulted her into a six penalty lead. Partnering Ensign, who finished ninth at Blenheim last year, Funnell rode a stylish and fluent test, earning an impressive 40.4 pen.
Early leader Jeanette Brakewell remains in second position on a score of 46.9 pen with third place taken by William Fox-Pitt, who produced his best test to date aboard Birthday Night.
