Finn McCool is champion hunter

  • J L Dunlop’s lightweight hunter Finn McCool was crowned hunter champion at the Royal Windsor Horse Show this afternoon. The six-year-old bay gelding is by Supreme Edge and was bred by Mrs P Troughton.

Lightweight six-year olds seemed to be the order of the day. Windsor’s reserve champion, Second Quest is also a lightweight six-year-old – just under four centimetres taller than Finn McCool. The bay gelding is owned by his rider Miss S Turner.
