Pony Club launches new jumping challenge

  • A new show jumping competition has been introduced into the winter Pony Club calendar. All members of the Pony Club, including associates, are eligible for the new Dengie Open Show Jumping Competition.

The first round will not exceed 1.10m and top three finishers at each Area competition will qualify for the final at Warwickshire College on 8 April 2006. This will be held in conjunction with the popular Dengie Winter League Championship. The maximum height of fences in the first round at the final will be 1.15m.

The Dengie Winter League Championships attracts more than 4,500 entries at the first round competitions with the finals playing host to around 85 competitors. Riders who qualify for both the Dengie Winter League Championships and the Dengie Open Final will be asked to nominate which class they wish to compete in.
