Damian Hallam dominated the Horse & Hound Winter Championships with a hat-trick of wins and a clutch of good placings for Team Berkeley last week.
Hallam enjoyed a one-two in the Biotal Medium Open, with Wolke Sieben (pictured) taking the title on 70.45% ahead of Catbalou, who also broke the 70% barrier on 70.36% to take reserve.
One to watch for the future is the Pidgleys breathtaking Spirit Freedom, who produced a cracker of a test to win the Blue Chip Feed Balancer Novice Open with 76%, despite a few novicey errors.
Hes as amazing to ride as he looks, confirmed Hallam, who rode the horse into fifth place in last years World Breeding Championships, as well as winning the PreVac Pro final at the nationals.
Only one other combination, Fernandez and Charlotte Dujardin, managed to break the 70% barrier in the novice open, although third-placed Daniel Timson and Daniolo were only a couple of marks outside it.
The six-year-old Spirit Freedoms claimed his second winter title some 24hr later in the elementary open, where he gained a 5% margin over Jacky Stolpers consistent Wunders-Tag and Judy Harvey with Lou Wega.
