Christopher Bartle
Chris Bartle has successfully ridden at the highest level in both dressage and three-day eventing. He was a member of the British Dressage Team from 1981 to 1987 and remains Britain’s highest placed individual rider at the Olympics. He was placed sixth in the Los Angeles Games with Wily Trout in 1984. Chris then turned his hand to eventing with great success and won a European gold medal in 1997. The following year he became the oldest rider to win Badminton aged 46 years and 80 days.
