A fantastic performance in phase A of the individual show jumping final at the Markopoulo Olympic Equestrian Centre in Athens sees Nick Skelton and Arko III leading the field going into the final round.
Nick is currently in joint first place with Ireland’s Jessica Kuerten on Castle Forbes Maike after both riders achieved clear rounds over a truly Olympic course.
Twenty-nine riders have gone through to phase B, including Britain’s other individual representative Robert Smith, who is in joint 12th with 8 faults.
Nick will be last rider to jump at around 9.30pm in Athens (7.30pm British time).
