H&H caught up with the newly crowned champion’s owner, Mandy Godden, and rider Charlotte Tuck.
Winner of the novice show pony championship Rhoscelodie was unphased by Royal Windsor’s atmosphere and put in a mannerly performance to take the crown.
The four-year-old mare took the 128cm class, before netting the championship title ahead of reserve Chanlee Delightful Dan and Zara Brookes.
“We are thrilled – it is really lovely to win at Windsor and to get the championship is really special,” said Mandy.
“She has a nice future ahead of her – she is only a baby.
“We were a bit worried about the carriages going by. Fortunately they timed it quite well with her show!
“She has been very good as it is quite buzzy the ring – she coped very well so we are really pleased.”
Rider 11-year-old Charlotte Tuck added the win was “Mindblowing”.
