H&H’s Cheltenham Festival wish list

  • When the wind is howling and you were wishing you’d put on that extra layer, there’s only one place to regain feeling in your toes at the Cheltenham Festival (10-13 March 2015) — the shopping village. And while you are there, it can’t hurt to look.

With just over two weeks until we hear the Cheltenham roar, H&H picks out what will be on our wish list from this year’s trade stands. Best start saving now…

    1. A Janie Beardsall belt

    Janie Beardsall
Choose from a lurcher, a fox, a hare, a salmon and a horse to perk up your jeans, made by sculptor Janie Beardsall. The buckles are cast in pewter in Co. Durham and the bridle leather is hand crafted by a master saddler in north Yorkshire. It’s also worth having a look at Jonny Beardsall’s hats — statement fur doesn’t get much more glamorous.
    Price: £195

    2. Cufflinks by Harriet Glen

Cut a dash in these racehorse cufflinks, each with a shiny finish and fitted with hinged T bar links.

    3. A new Barbour

    Barbour
When your Barbour has more holes than there is fabric, it might be time for an upgrade. We like this ‘Vintage Beadnell’ version — with its washed distressed look and slimmer fit.

    4. A Katherine Hooker coat

    Katherine Hooker

    7. A rocking zebra

    Rocking horses
Move over rocking horses. Could there be a better way to while away your time as a child than on a rocking zebra? And if you want the full African experience, it can be accompanied by a herd of wildebeest running along the base.
