Arena Racing Company (ARC) – which runs racecourses including Chepstow, Doncaster and Newcastle — has launched its own racing syndicate.
The first horse in the new syndicate is 5-year-old Shadarpour, who is about to go into training with Alan King.
Shadarpour was previously in training with Gary Moore and ran on the Flat over jumps. He has won twice over hurdles.
Katie Stephens, syndicate manager and clerk of the course at Bath racecourse said: “We are very excited by this venture and have already sold a handful of shares. We believe Shadarpour is an excellent prospect to launch the syndicate due to his consistent form.”
The cost for the syndicate is £1,900 plus VAT for a 20th share in Shadarpour and then a monthly cost of £140 plus VAT.
Syndicate benefits include an ARC annual badge, discounted badges for friends or family, regular stable visits to Alan King’s yard at Barbury Castle and complementary hospitality whenever Shadarpour runs on an ARC racecourse.
