Royal Ascot is never short of mouth-watering sights, sounds and spectacles – and this year there will be an added dash of sweetness. A specially-commissioned collection of biscuits, designed in partnership with Ascot racecourse, will celebrate the style, fashion and pageantry of the famous fixture.
The hand-iced biscuit company, the Biscuiteers, founded by husband and wife Stevie Congdon and Harriet Hastings, has designed the new Ascot collection, which contains 9 hand-iced biscuits. They are packaged in a hand-illustrated tin that includes iconic images of the Queen’s racing silks, the first post, a lucky horse shoe, a saddle, an obligatory bottle of champagne and hats galore.
Once the biscuits have been enjoyed the tin can be used to store all your race day memorabilia.
The Biscuiteers’ collection will be launched just in time for Royal Ascot (17-21 June) and is priced at £30.00 plus P&P. It is available to buy from www.biscuiteers.com, the Biscuiteers Boutique and Icing Cafe, 194 Kensington Park Road, London and in the Ascot racecourse shop.
