A week-old foal has been found in a ditch in Lincolnshire.
The young foal was weak, cold and wet when found in the water-filled ditch by the RSPCA and Fenwold vets.
Named Moses, which is Hebrew for “carried from the water”, the foal has been bottle-fed round the clock by staff at Bransby Horses rescue centre since 4 April.
An appeal has been launched to find any information about him.
Moses is now moving onto a specially designed bucket with teats that would mimic his mother’s, before being introduced to a foster parent.
