A strengthened life-size model horse has been donated to the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Centre at Gartmore Riding School, Staffordshire.
The horse — which has been named Ashby — was donated by equestrian wholesaler Abbey England and Stubbs who produce stable equipement. The horse will be used by children that are not able to ride a real horse and to help to introduce other children to riding.
“Ashby is a valuable asset to the children visiting the riding school as he can help with balance, core stability and confidence,” said Peter Philips of Abbey England:
“We are delighted to supply Ashby, in conjunction with Stubbs, and hope he will make a difference to many riders over the years.
