Driving National Championships called off

  • The British Horse Driving Trials Association has announced that it has had to cancel this year’s national carriage driving championship, due to take place in Windsor Great Park on 14-16 September.

Driving trials has been particularly hard hit by the FMD crisis with only one national event – Normanhurst – taking place.

The decision was taken due to uncertainties about access to certain areas in Windsor Great Park to build obstacles.

However, Windsor Park Equestrian Club will be putting on an additional 10 driving classes run in conjunction with its annual club championships on 17-19 August.
