Volunteer Marie Cameron died last month (23 July) aged 74.
Marie was a driving force behind equestrian development in the Scottish Highlands. She ran the British Horse Society rescue satellite centre at Munlochy for more than a decade, helping to rescue and rehabilitate hundreds of horses.
Alongside her work at the centre, she was also district commissioner of Inverness Pony Club branch, introduced affiliated dressage to the Black Isle and volunteered for the Riding for the Disabled Association.
Marie leaves four children and two grandchildren.
