Rare polo book comes up for sale


  • Polo player Nigela Brassard has produced a one-off collectors’ item which gives an exceptional insight into the history of polo.

    The book, entitled A Glorious Victory, A Glorious Defeat, covers the famous international polo matches of 1921 and includes photographs and illustrations that have never been published before.

    Those interested in obtaining a copy of the book are invited to make a bid andit will be sent to the person who bids the highest.

    Funds raised will go to The Make-a-Wish Foundation and The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, concerned with helping terminally ill children and the farming community respectively.
