Al Maktoum Endurance Cup cancelled

  • The Al Maktoum Endurance Cup, Rambo Cup and all associated endurance competitions for 2001 have been cancelled.

Organisers say the decision was brought about due to the ongoing problems associated with FMD and out of respect for the localcommunity.

The races had been scheduled for the following dates: Rambo Cup (Monday, 13 August) and Al Maktoum Endurance Cup (15-16 August).

  • The Breckland endurance ride scheduled for 17 June has been cancelled due to FMD.

However, ride organiser Felicity Stockwell hopes to run the ride scheduled for 30 June. She explained that it would now be a regional ride and not a national ride, subject to FMD and added that regional riders and not just regional members would be invited to take part in the ride.
