Three brave members of the Berwickshire Hunt are planning a parachute jump to help raise funds
Three members of the Berwickshire hunt are planning to do a parachute jump on Friday 14 September at the Border Parachute Centre in Northumberland in a bid to help raise funds .
None of the three brave members – Jeremy Whaley, MFH, kennel-huntsman John Weller and hunt supporter David Law – have never done a parachutejump before.
Training in preparation for their jump will take place all morning. It is expected they will jump out of the plane at a height of 3,500ft .
The hunt has already received some generous donations and Jeremy said: “Perhaps people don’t realise I’m taking a parachute.”
Spectators are welcome at this event and anyone wishing to sponsor the event can send their donation to Loonyjump Brieryhill, Duns, Berwickshire, TD11 3PS or log onto the hunt’s website at www.BerwickshireHunt.org.uk
