The British Equestrian Trade Association will be attending a series of equine fairs to increase public knowledge of its role in the equestrian sector
BETA (British EquestrianTrade Association) is to attend three equine fairs over the autumn and winter months. They are keen to explain to the general public the services they offer to members of the retail trade.
BETA is currently responsible for training retailers in a range of services, including hat and body protector fitting, bit fitting and advice, wormer sales and advice. BETA also publishes its trade directory and offers an arbitration service between buyers and retailers.
The association hopes that these events will give the public a chance to see and speak to representatives from BETA. BETA chief executive and secretary Claire Williams said: “We are keen to speak to as many people as possible and are looking forward to people visiting the stand”.
The association will be attending the South West Christmas Equine Fair at Westpoint, Exeter (24-25 November). The North of England Equine Fair at Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate (1-2 December) and the Scottish Equine Fair at the Royal Highland Showground, Ingliston (8-9 December).
