Day one of Bolesworth Classic horse show cancelled due to heavy rain

  • The first day of the Bolesworth Classic (30 May-2 June), Cheshire, has been cancelled due to heavy overnight rain. The next three days of competition are expected to go ahead.

The organisers released a statement this morning saying: “The Bolesworth Classic has been cancelled for today only. The weather forecast is excellent for the next three days and we are hoping that by preserving all ground today we will have a successful three-day show.”

Further details about an amended schedule will be released later.

Class entry fees will be refunded and tickets purchased online can be redeemed on any of the remaining days.
