Crufts, which was founded in 1891, has long established itself as the world’s greatest dog show.
This year’s show to be held on rescheduled dates (following the FMD cancellation), from 25 -28 May at the NEC, Birmingham, will herald the inclusion of overseas exhibitors and their dogs, giving the event a truly cosmopolitan feel.
Held over four days, the show has attracted a record entry of more than 21,500 dogs and more than 118,000visitors are also expected.Apart from a complete range of pedigree breeds, there is a varied programme of events scheduled, including agility, flyball, obedience and gundog competitions.
The Discover Dogs area will be highlighting responsible dog ownership and choice, by accommodating over 180 breeds of pedigree dog and their knowledgeable handlers, including many rare breeds from the Imported Breed Register.
