Horse & Hound, the world’s leading weekly equestrian magazine, requires a Hunting and Racing Editor to join our central London offices on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate must be aware of all the key issues, personalities and challenges within racing and hunting.
In addition they will need brilliant writing and communication skills, plus experience of organising a busy workload to uncompromising deadlines.
They will need strong writing and editing skills, an eagle eye for spelling and grammar, and an ability to organise, plan and complete a busy weekly workload with the help of a range of freelancers.
The successful candidate needs to be as confident recruiting new reporters and coaxing brilliant, punctual work out of them as they are proofreading pages and representing the magazine at press and equestrian events.
Experience in a similar role is essential.
