Scottish cross country enthusiasts will be able to take advantage of a new training course which has opened in Selkirk
A new cross-country course, which is available for hire for schooling sessions, had been opened in Selkirk, Scotland.
The new facility is based on a 45-acre site at Bowhill Stables on the Duke of Buccleuch’s Bowhill Estate. Designed by proprietor Alistair Black, it has been approved by Ian Stark, on behalf of theBHS.
The course has a huge range of fences, ranging from 2’9″ to 3’3″, including coffins, hedges, ditches, bounces, corners as well as a five-entry water complex. The course has been designed to help people prepare for the eventing and hunter trial seasons.
Extending to a mile and a half in length the course can be hired for £15 for a 3-hour session, or £25 for an organised training session with Ian Stark.
