A hotel in Montgomeryshire, Mid Wales, is offering free stabling and bedding up to 31 October to anyone who wants to “get away from it all” with their equine partner.
Lake Vyrnwy Hotel inLlanwddyn has six stables for guests who are expected to bring their own horse feed.
The hotel’s general manager, Anthony Rosser, says: “Here’s a golden opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the 24,000- acre lake estate and Berwyn mountains with their moorland tracks and forest bridleways.
“It’s a lovely place to come, a great place to ride and offers super stables.
Anthony says that next year there will be a fully structured 14 mile-bridleway around the lake.
Dogs are also welcome and can stay free in purpose-built heated kennels.
