Major driving trial goes ahead

  • There is a ray of sunshine for driving trials with the news that the Normanhurst event in Sussex, scheduled for 28-29 July, is set to go ahead.

Normanhurst will be one of a handful of national trials likely to take place this year. A class for horse teams will be included.

Organiser Dick Carey said: “We are making the marathon easier by knocking off 1km from two of the three sections. We also hope to have at least three of the seven obstacles early in section E so that horses and ponies do not run out of steam before they get to them.”
