“The haylage was extremely high quality, with a good texture, quality consistency and sweet smell.
“The haylage was fed to several different horses which included fussy eaters, a slightly poor horse and also to horses staying away at competitions who tend to lose their appetite.
“In all cases it proved to be extremely palatable. All the horses finished up every last scrap. The horse who had come in looking poor, gained some weight and preferred it to soaked hay.
“From my point ofview, it was invaluable to take to shows as the bales are easy to carry and don’t take up too much space in the lorry.
“Also, because of its high palatability, all the horses at the competition finished it up very well, even in the first few days when they are usually slightly off their feed.”
