The first endurance ride of the season is being held by the British Endurance Riding Association on 17 June at Breckland, Ickburgh, Norfolk.
Felicity Stockwell, East and East Midland regional director of BERA, explained that the event will include a 20-, 30-, and 40-mile pleasure ride across farm land and forest trails.
The event will only be open to members of the East and East Midland region. However, there will be a repeat event on 30 June, which will be available to members from all over the country.
The ride is being held courtesy of Mr and Mrs Melvine Long. “We hope this will build up to endurance rides in years to come,” said Felicity Stockwell.
