Riders can now access training in dressage, driving, show jumping and eventing via the internet with a new initiative from Equifor, in association with Horse and Hound Online.
The online masterclasses offer interactive training from top trainers, including Jennie Loriston-Clarke (dressage), Gary Docking (driving), Christopher Bartle (eventing) and Werner Ulrich (driving). There are also plans to include other top trainers from all disciplines to the Equifor MasterClass portfolio in the future.
The first session will take place on Thursday 5 April at 8.00pm. The first in a series of 10 programmes, Jennie Loriston-Clarke will be discussing the best way to prepare your horse or pony for competitions.
The MasterClass will take place on a live chat basis, with users able to pose questions directly to Jennie during the session.
Equifor’s Phil Nadin says: “The internet is the perfect medium for providing low cost communication between people sharing a common interest. The masterclass will provide people with access to the best equine trainers, who in turn can share their knowledge and experience with a world-wide audience.
“The current technical limitations of bandwidth prevent us from offering fully interactive audio visual communication at this stage. However, what we are doing now is the first phase of a long and very interesting road.”
Users who are interested in taking part in the Online Masterclasses should visit www.equifor.com/Masterclassfirstpage.htm for further information and to register.
