Scotland marches for hunting

  • It is not too late to join the March on the Mound this Sunday and show your support

Final preparations are underway as country sports supporters from south of the border plan to join their Scottish contemporaries and oppose the Watson Bill by marching through Edinburgh on Sunday 16 December.

Organisers are advising marchers to wear stout footwear as the Meadows, where the march is starting, is likely to be wet underfoot.

Marchers who would like to play their bagpipes during the event are welcome. Please contact Will Galbraith (tel: 0131 335 0382) and let him know if you are planning to provide traditional musical accompaniment.

Seats are still available on coaches, and several flights have been chartered. For details contact the March Office on (tel: 0131 335 0382) or e-mail alice-galbraith@countrysidealliance.org
