Prepare for the dressage season by learning the latest tests
British Dressage has announced the 2002 series of tests, which will be in use from 1 March, 2002.
Some of the existing tests have been changed and renumbered, while a number of other tests have been removed from use. There are no completely new tests for 2002.
“Some of the differences are changes in terminology,” explained Jo Bagnall of British Dressage.”For example in novice tests “progessively show some lengthened strides” has become “show some medium trot/canter strides”.
“Other changes include movements being split so that two separate marks are now given for what was previously one movement.”
There will be three groups of tests in 2002, the usual BD tests (identified by numbers), the Young Horse Tests (identified by letters) and the FEI tests (identified by names).
