All change at Guards

  • Virgin turf at Guards Polo Club for this year’s Queen’s Cup and Cartier International

This season sees several changes to Guards Polo Club, based at Smith’s Lawn, Windsor Great Park, Berkshire.

During last year’s enforced closure due to FMD, the committee re-laid grounds one and two. They will be played on for the first time in the Queen’s Cup final (Sunday, 16 June) and Cartier International Day (Sunday, July 28).

Col Paul Belcher becomes the club’s new chairman and the club also welcomes the five-goal Australian player Derek Reid as its new polo manager.
