New horses for Anky Van Grunsven


  • Olympic individual gold medallist Anky Van Grunsven has two new stallions

    Following a two week trial, Dutch Olympic individual gold medallist Anky Van Grunsven has taken two young stallions into training.

    Redford is a black four-year-old licensed breeding stallion. He is out of a Ferro mare by Krack C who Anky is currently training and competing at grand prix level.

    The other is Osmium a six-year-old by Ferro, a previous winner of the Pavo cup, the national competition for young horses in the Netherlands.

    Gestion sponsorship confirmed

    Gestion, the Amsterdam stockbroking firm which hassupported Anky and her team of horses for the past five years has agreed to extend its support until the end of 2004, including the Athens Olympics.
